This noble presentation of the prayer of the Church has single-handedly brought thousands of people into the practice of praying the Liturgy of the Hours (who otherwise would never in a million years purchase the prayer books), forming a virtual community of prayers world wide. will continue to function for as long as we permitted, but until we receive all appropriate permissions it won’t be available again for sale. It is temporarily no longer available for purchase on app stores for the foreseeable future. This is dreadful news considering Divine Office is an essential Catholic app for so many around the English-speaking world. For this reason, the app is temporarily not available to new buyers and the web site notes that very soon Divine Office will not be able to accept new users via internet until the necessary licensing is acquired.īottom line… RUSH over to to sign up on their web site so you can at least maintain access to their text and audio through your devices’ browser if you don’t have the app. An award-winning web site and app developer providing text and audio for Liturgy of the Hours, Divine Office is apparently experiencing some issues with licensing.
